Whilst we’ve talked at length about the impact that Covid-19 has had on comics, film and TV, another area of our industry which has been heavily impacted is conventions.

London Film and Comic Con was originally set to take place in July, but with current social distancing and lockdown arrangements it would not be possible for the organisers to put on an event which was both safe and exciting for fans.

With that in mind the event has been pushed back to November 20 – 22. It will still take place at the legendary Olympia here in London and we’re taking a look at some of the guests so far confirmed. The November event is set to play host to a number of huge names including Agents of SHIELD‘s Clark Gregg and Harry Potter‘s Robbie Coltrane.

Here’s a look at a number of the guests so far confirmed:

Other guests confirmed to be in attendance, in alphabetical order, are:

    • Omid Abtahi (The Mandalorian)
    • Riz Ahmed (Rogue One)
    • Karen Allen (Indiana Jones)
    • Colin Baker (Doctor Who)
    • Mark Boone Jnr (Sons of Anarchy)
    • Ben Browder (Farscape)
    • Veronica Cartwright (Alien)
    • Noel Clarke (Doctor Who)
    • Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy)
    • Sacha Dhawan (Doctor Who)
    • Mandeep Dhillon (Star Wars)
    • Julian Glover (Star Wars)
    • Andrew Gower (Carnival Row)
    • Julian Holloway (Doctor Who)
    • Sam Humphrey (The Greatest Showman)
    • Clare Kramer (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
    • Simon McBurney (Carnival Row)
    • Sylvester McCoy (Doctor Who)
    • Meat Loaf (Rocky Horror Picture Show)
    • Anjli Mohindra (Sarah Jane Adventures)
    • Staz Nair (Supergirl)
    • Jason O’Mara (Justice League: Apokolips War)
    • Mark Pellegrino (Supernatural)
    • David Ramsey (Arrow)
    • Emmy Raver-Lampman (The Umbrella Academy)
    • Misty Rosas (The Mandalorian)
    • Tom Skerritt (Alien)
    • Amanda Tapping (Stargate SG1)
    • Natalia Tena (Harry Potter)
    • Ashley Walters (Bulletproof)
    • John Wesley-Shipp (The Flash)

There are a number of guests who are nearing confirmation whom the organisers have chosen to announce. These include Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Ming-Na Wen (Agents of SHIELD), Danielle Nicolet (The Flash), Alice Cooper, Jessie T Usher (The Boys), Mat Fraser (American Horror Story) and Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian.

Tickets for the November event are not yet available but we’ll bring you info as soon as it becomes available.
