The highly anticipated PlayStation 5 event was originally set for 4th June. However, due to the Coronavirus it was rightly postponed. A new date for the event has now been announced and we can hardly wait.
The pre-taped program will now air on June 11th at 1pm Pacific Time/ 9pm BST. This event will showcase the upcoming console as well as the new games we can expect around the console’s release.
Let’s face it, what is the point of a console launch without any games? Bring it on.
Fans can marvel at the new innovative system that promises to redefine the future of video gaming. While I’m sure the event will run differently, just getting the chance to see what the PS5 will look like and how it will operate is incredibly exciting.
The event will run for just over an hour and will take advantage of this new way of bringing people together. Together, we will be able to virtually experience the PlayStation like we’ve never seen it before.
I can’t wait for the event. I’ve got a mental note of all the games I’d like to see. Fingers crossed that we get something really cool… perhaps a certain web-swinging hero? an angry axe-wielding demigod? or even a machine killing hunter. Who knows.
