Though The Mandalorian has completed production on season 2 Disney is playing its cards very close to its chest.
The House of Mouse has been uncharacteristically low-key when it comes to discussing which Hollywood directors are working on the second season. They are also keeping quiet when it comes to casting news for this second batch of new episodes.
But The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Santa Clarita Diet actor Timothy Olyphant has joined the cast. Of course, the trade has absolutely no idea who Olyphant is playing at the time of writing.
Written by Iron Man‘s Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte. The series debuts new episodes weekly on Disney+.
