As the world continues to shut up shop and stay indoors, Hollywood is counting the cost of cinema chains worldwide closing their doors to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus.
As the latest in a stream of early digital platform releases, Paramount Pictures has confirmed that it is bringing the hugely successful Sonic The Hedgehog home to fans from March 31. The studio has also confirmed that the Blu-ray and DVD release in North America will remain Tuesday, May 19.
Paramount has additionally confirmed that 4K Ultra HD & Blu-ray combo packS will come with a limited edition comic Book. The story of the comic will feature Sonic and The Donut Lord AKA Sheriff Tom Wachowski.
No word yet on whether this release will include international markets. Will you be picking up the film when it hits digital platforms?
Sonic the Hedgehog stars Ben Schwartz as Sonic and Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, with James Marsden, Neal McDonald, Tika Sumpter, Adam Pally and Natasha Rothwell.
