The new Starman is definitely Not Pat Dugan in new STARGIRL promo

The CW has debuted a new look at the upcoming Stargirl with a new promo focussing on passing the torch from Starman (Joel McHale) to Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger).

Watch in the player below as Pat (Luke Wilson) bravely attempts to accept the honour and is unceremoniously cut down.

The show stars Brec Bassinger in the title role. Luke Wilson is playing S.T.R.I.P.E., alongside Joel McHale (Starman), Lou Ferrigno Jr. (Hourman), Henry Thomas (Dr. Mid-Nite), and Brian Stapf (Wildcat). Neil Hopkins (Sportsmaster), Joy Osmanski (Tigress), and Nelson Lee (Dragon King) will portray members of the Injustice Society.
