Disney+ is set to launch in the UK on March 24 with plenty of fans looking to content on the US version of the app to plan their potential watchlist. But one series which has been absent from announcements is The Simpsons.
A major draw for fans in the US has been access to over 30 seasons (600+ episodes) of the long-running comedy series. But now it has been confirmed that Disney has been able to strike a deal with Sky to bring the series to the UK version of the new streaming service.
The company announced the news on social media:
Over 600 episodes of The Simpsons + Disney + Pixar + Marvel + Star Wars + Nat Geo = 🤯 D’oh not miss out! pic.twitter.com/IqRM1BXU6C— Disney+ UK (@DisneyPlusUK) March 4, 2020
Fans in the UK who sign up at DisneyPlus.com ahead of the March 24 launch will be treated to a discounted years subscription at £49.99. The regular price for an annual subscription will be £59.99.
