Director Colin Trevorrow has announced on social media that cameras are now rolling on the third film in the Jurassic World series. In announcing production the director has also confirmed the latest film will be titled Jurassic World: Dominion.
Dominion is the overall sixth film in the Jurassic Park franchise which began back in 1993. The latest film plans to bring back three of the original cast from that film as Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum all return for what Chris Pratt recently called the Avengers: Endgame of the Jurassic Park franchise.
The last film, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, ended with a number of dinosaurs now in the world and living around human society. As yet we know very little about Dominion but it will seemingly pick-up in a world where humans and dinosaurs try to coexist. It’s unlikely things are going too peacefully of course!
