With Superman: Red Son now available on digital platforms, Warner Bros. begin to turn their attentions to the next film in the DC Animated Universe series.
Justice League Dark: Apokolips War is the follow-up to 2017’s Justice League Dark and will be the next film encompassing the huge ensemble cast of the animated universe.
As revealed by ComicBook, the cast for Justice League Dark: Apokolips War is headlined by Matt Ryan as John Constantine. Ryan will be joined by Jerry O’Connell, Jason O’Mara, and Rosario Dawson reprising their roles as Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.
Rounding out the heroic cast are Shemar Moore as Cyborg, Christopher Gorham as The Flash, Roger R. Cross as John Stewart, and Rainn Wilson as Lex Luthor. Fans will remember that Batman: Hush revealed that Luthor is now a fully fledged member of the League.
Cross will also provide the voice of Swamp Thing alongside the rest of the Justice League Dark cast including Camilla Luddington as Zatanna and Ray Chase as Jason Blood/Etrigan.
All signs point to Apokolips War being the Endgame of the animated DC Universe as the Teen Titans and the Suicide Squad will also be part of the action!
Stuart Allan will reprise his role as Damien Wayne/Robin with Taissa Farmiga as Raven, Hynden Walch as Harley Quinn, Liam McIntyre as Captain Boomerang, Sachie Alessio as Lady Shiva, and John DiMaggio as King Shark. Additionally, Rebecca Romijn will voice Lois Lane and the legendary Tony Todd will portray Darkseid.
No release date has been set for Justice League Dark: Apokolips War as yet.
