With one month to go until the launch of Disney+ in the UK and Europe the House of Mouse has finally made the service available to pre-order.
Fans eager to sign-up to the latest streaming platform can make use of a special deal costing £49.99. For those keeping score that’s a £10 discount for early signup with the cost rising to £59.99 after March 24.
Early signup will grant fans instant access to the service when it launches, including what Disney hails as over 7,500 TV episodes of content. But one series that UK fans shouldn’t expect to dive in to when Disney+ launches is The Simpsons.
It’s been confirmed that Homer and co. will not be available in the UK and this is most likely due to licensing with Channel 4, the current terrestrial home to the FOX series.
It’s unclear at this stage when (or if) The Simpsons will come to Disney+ UK but for now you’ll have to make do with The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical and the upcoming Clone Wars at launch.
