Universal Pictures is gearing up to start production on the third entry in the Jurassic World franchise. The next, and sixth, film in the franchise is set to bring back a host of characters from across the series including Dr Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Dr Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) and recent stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Deadline is now reporting that Altered Carbon and Dollhouse star Dichen Lachman has joined the cast. Lachman has most recently been seen recurring on the TNT series Animal Kingdom.
Last week it was confirmed that Omar Sy and Jake Johnson will be reprising their roles from the first Jurassic World movie as Barry and Lowery Cruthers, respectively.
We know very little about the upcoming third chapter in the updated the franchise. Following on from 2018’s Fallen Kingdom we know that dinosaurs are now living amongst humans, a sight we recently witness in the short-film Battle At Big Rock.
Jurassic World 3 is set for release in 2021.
