Yesterday we brought you the news that Spider-Man director Sam Raimi is strongly rumoured to be replacing Scott Derrickson to direct Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness for Marvel Studios.
Well Derrickson heard the rumour and endorsed Raimi on social media. “I’ve worked with Sam Raimi. One of the nicest people I’ve known in the film business, and as a director, a true living legend. What a great choice to take over Doctor Strange.”
It seems Derrickson is happy with his potential replacement though there has been no word from Raimi himself or Marvel Studios as yet.
