The fifth instalment in the Indiana Jones franchise feels like it’s been in development for a lifetime now. Following the mixed response to Kingdom of the Crystal Skull the studios seems set on taking the franchise back-to-basics and there’s still a hope that Harrison Ford will return to the role.
Speaking with BBC News on the red carpet at Sunday’s BAFTA awards, LucasFilm’s Kathleen Kennedy touched on the development of the film.
“We’re working away, getting the script where we want it to be and then we’ll be ready to go,” explained Kennedy. “Harrison Ford will be involved, yeah. It’s not a reboot; it’s a continuation.”
Are you looking forward to seeing where Indy goes next following the divisive Crystal Skull? Chances are we won’t be seeing Shia LeBouf return to this franchise if you ask us…
