More great news for BOOM! Studios Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series today as the publisher announces that issue two has sold out in release week.

Yesterday we brought you the news that issue one is going back to the printers for a second printing, following the announcements of variant and black and white editions of the same issue.

We’ve got all the details on this latest achievement in the press release below.

BOOM! Studios Fast Tracks Second Printing to Meet Totally Radical Demand in February 2020

BOOM! Studios, under license by Hasbro, Inc. and in partnership with IDW and Nickelodeon, announced today that the MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #2 has sold out at the distributor level! The five-issue limited series event is written by Ryan Parrott (Power Rangers: Necessary Evil), illustrated by Simone di Meo (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Venom Annual), colored by Walter Baiamonte (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), and lettered by Ed Dukeshire (The Red Mother).

In response to the overwhelming demand from retailers and fans, BOOM! Studios has fast-tracked MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #2 SECOND PRINTING to arrive in comic shops on February 5, 2020, with a brand new cover featuring Shredder, by artist Goñi Montes (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers).

Tommy faces a shocking betrayal within the Foot Clan that puts him in the crosshairs of their leader – Shredder! But can the Rangers and Turtles put their differences aside before Shredder unleashes his ultimate weapon? No Power Rangers or Ninja Turtles fan can miss the shocking last page!

“The action and excitement continues to build as Shredder enters the scene and proceeds to blow up everyone’s plans with his own surprise—he’s gotten hold of a power that’ll change the playing field entirely,” said Filip Sablik, President, Sales and Marketing, BOOM! Studios. “For everyone who thought the first issue started with a bang, we’re upping the stakes in a big way with this issue. Don’t miss this special fast-tracked second printing and find out what happens when you’ve got two teams of butt-kicking teens up against a whole clan of ninjas and their merciless leaders!”

MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES is the newest release from BOOM!
