Deadpool last hit out screens in 2018 when Deadpool 2 tore up the fourth wall and brought a live-action Cable to our screens. At the time 20th Century Fox were said to be working on a third Deadpool movie as well as an X-Force adaption.
Of course this was all before the studio was bought by Disney and Deadpool became part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the character now under the banner of Marvel Studios and in the hands of Kevin Feige many had been wondering what was next for the Merc.
Now star (and producer) Ryan Reynolds has offered an update on the character during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan in North America.
“We’re working on it right now with the whole team,” said Reynolds. “We’re over at Marvel [Studios] now, which is like the big leagues all of a sudden. It’s kinda crazy. So yeah, we’re working on it.”
