As fans prepare for the release of the second issue of BOOM! Studios Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series the publisher has other ideas in mind.
BOOM! has unveiled a special, black and white edition of the series debut issue. Set to release in January this latest version is designed in the vein of classic TMNT comics which were release in the colourless format.

Studios, under license by Hasbro, Inc. and in partnership with IDW and Nickelodeon, announced today the MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #1 BLACK AND WHITE LIMITED EDITION, a brand new black & white edition of the acclaimed limited series debut written by Ryan Parrott (Power Rangers: Necessary Evil), illustrated by Simone di Meo (Venom Annual), and lettered by Ed Dukeshire (The Red Mother).
MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #1 BLACK AND WHITE LIMITED EDITION features a black and white variant of Dan Mora’s main cover art and Simone di Meo’s stunning original line art laid out in contrasting shades of black and white, available exclusively in select comic book stores on January 29, 2020. The Power Rangers arrive in New York City to find Tommy Oliver – AKA The Mighty Morphin Green Ranger – but soon discover he’s joined forces with the villainous Shredder and the Foot Clan!
