It feels like The Flash movie has been in development for decades now. We’re not going to recap the various behind-the-scenes changes but suffice it to say the journey to the big screen has been long.
The Flash, played by Ezra Miller (Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them), debuted in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice and was next glimpsed in Suicide Squad and most recently appeared in Justice League.
Now we know that his solo debut will arrive in cinemas on July 1, 2022.
IT director Andy Muschetti is still expected to be in-charge behind the camera when The Flash goes in to production. With a release date now in mind expect more news on casting in the near future!
