It seems the era of Marvel Television is truly coming to an end. THR is reporting that the company is winding down activities before it is entirely folded within Marvel Studios.
According to the trade around “a dozen layoffs” are coming as the company ceases to exist. This includes the high profile departure of studio head Jeph Loeb which has been widely reported.
The studio continues to work on its live action Helstrom series which is still eying to start production in the near future. That show will mark the end of developments under the Loeb regime as the company transitions in to life under Kevin Feige.
Marvel Television is responsible for most of the last decade of Marvel series and whilst the future looks bright we’re sad to see the company go.
