TITANS promotes Damaris Lewis to series regular for season 3

Coming as absolutely no surprise to Titans fans, TVLine is reporting that Damaris Lewis has been promoted to a series regular for season 3 of the DC Universe series.

Lewis debuted in season 2 playing Blackfire, sister to Anna Diop’s Kory. At the time the character was raising hell on Tamaran having deposed the ruling party and taking control.

Friday’s season 2 finale (reviewed here) saw Blackfire seemingly arrive on Earth and looking to take revenge on her sister. With this news we expect Blackfire to form a major part of the storyline for season.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Nightwing, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove, Curran Walters as Jason Todd/Robin and Joshua Orpin as Conner Kent/Superboy.
