TEEN TITANS GO! wins BAFTA for Best International Animation

Teen Titans Go! (Warner Bros.)

Today we’re sending huge congratulations to the cast and crew of Teen Titans Go! as the series takes home its first BAFTA award. Over the weekend BAFTA held its annual British Academy Children’s Awards with a couple of comic book properties celebrating wins.

Sony Pictures is celebrating as Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse took home the award for Best Feature. The studio is currently developing a sequel to the first hugely successful big screen animated Spidey feature.

DC Comics, Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Animation are also celebrating today as Teen Titans Go!, the long-running spin-off to the hugely successful Teen Titans series, took home the award for Best International Animation.

Go! has been running for over 200 episodes and last year also released its first big screen adaption. The story follows the adventures of the titular Titans and takes a more whimsical look at their lives in Titans Tower.

Congratulations Titans!

Teen Titans Go! stars Greg Cipes as Beast Boy, Scott Menville as Robin, Khary Payton as Cyborg, Tara Strong as Raven and Hynden Walch as Starfire. The series airs on Cartoon Network with episodes also available to stream via Netflix.
