Earlier today we learned that Stargirl will be pulling double duty between DC Universe and The CW in 2020. The series will debut each new episode on the DC streaming service, with episodes then airing on The CW the following day.
Now an extra detail surrounding Courtney Whitmore’s introduction to the DC live-action world has been revealed.
Buried in Business Insider’s report on the latest developments it is mentioned that the Stargirl character will be introduced briefly in the upcoming Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover. The five-part event covers all the Arrowverse shows including Arrow, Batwoman, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow.
Brec Bassinger is set to appear, albeit briefly, in the huge event in scenes which reportedly give context to where the character fits in to the wider live-action DC universe.
The show stars Brec Bassinger in the title role. Luke Wilson is playing S.T.R.I.P.E., alongside Joel McHale (Starman), Lou Ferrigno Jr. (Hourman), Henry Thomas (Dr. Mid-Nite), and Brian Stapf (Wildcat). Neil Hopkins (Sportsmaster), Joy Osmanski (Tigress), and Nelson Lee (Dragon King) will portray members of the Injustice Society.
