Just last week we found out that Black Adam has finally found itself a December 2021 release date, now Dwayne Johnson has a whole lot more news for us.
In a new interview with Screen Rant the actor and producer has discussed the inclusion of a number of classic DC Comics characters from the Justice Society of America.
When asked about any characters from the wider DCU who might appear in the film Johnson had this to say, “JSA. We will introduce you to that, the world to JSA.”
Johnson also touched on whether the film will see him square up to Zachary Levi’s Shazam “Without giving too much away, it’s not in the plans right now,” he replied. “I think the approach that we’re talking I feel really good about, and all of the filmmakers do too as well. It’s an origin story and that’s where we start it and we root it, and then we build out from there. Now, not to say Shazam isn’t on my radar. Of course Shazam is, but so is all of DC.”
Black Adam officially lands in cinemas on 22 December, 2021.
