Warner Bros. has announced that the first trailer for its upcoming, 3D animated, Scoob! will launch on Monday (11 November). The announcement has come alongside the first banner and several stills from the film.
The film features an all star cast and looks set to go back and tell some of the characters history as well as crossing him over with plenty of other Hanna Barbera characters!
“We’ll see Scooby and Shaggy meet, join the intrepid young detectives Fred, Velma and Daphne in forming Mystery Inc. and close hundreds of cases, sharing previously-untold adventures along the way. Then, they must foil a diabolical plot revolving around a ghost dog known as Cerberus, discovering Scooby’s secret legacy and their own epic destiny along the way.“
Directed by Tony Cervone, Scooby! is set to star Frank Welker as the titular hound, Zac Efron as Fred Jones, Gina Rodriguez as Velma Dinkley, Will Forte as Shaggy Rogers and Amanda Seyfried as Daphne Blake.
Joining them will be Tracy Morgan as Captain Caveman, Ken Jeong as Dynomutt, Kiersey Clemons as Dee Dee Sykes, Mark Wahlberg as Blue Falcon, Jason Isaacs as Dick Dastardly, Pierce Gagnon as Young Fred, Ariana Greenblatt as Young Velma, McKenna Grace as Young Dapne and Ian Armitage as Young Shaggy.
Scoob! is set for release on May 15, 2020.
