Variety has some casting news which we never saw coming as How I Met Your Mother and Doctor Horrible’s Sing Along Blog star Neil Patrick Harris has joined the cast of The Matrix 4.
At this stage his role is being kept completely under wraps and we have no news other than that he has officially boarded the project alongside Aquaman star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II who joined the Warner Bros. production last week.
The film will be written and directed by Lana Wachowski who returns to the franchise alongside stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss. The film is expected to enter production in early 2020.
