Kevin Feige

We’ve all known for some time that Kevin Feige was a god in the world of Marvel but now the news has been made official. Deadline has broken the news that Feige has been promoted to Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer.

Feige now finds himself in charge of not only Marvel Studios but also the TV, animation and comics divisions will also report in to him. He will continue to report to Walt Disney Co-Chairman and Chief Creative Officer Alan Horn and Co-Chairman Alan Bergman for the time being.

Both Dan Buckley and Ike Perlmutter continue in their current roles as President of Marvel Entertainment and Chairman respectively.

It remains to be seen how his influence will impact on the comics but only time will tell. For now we wish him a huge congratulations on his promotion. It’s well deserved after all his hard work crafting the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
