THE FLASH season 6 premiere synopsis teases XS fallout

The Flash (The CW/Warner Bros.)

As with Supergirl and the other DCTV shows on the The CW network, we’ve seen plenty of photos from the season premiere of The Flash. But until now we’ve not had official synopses to help us prepare ourselves for what to expect when the shows return to our screens next month.

Now we finally have a glimpse in to the episode “Into The Void” which looks like it will directly deal with the fallout of Flash‘s huge season 5 finale.

Here’s the full synopsis:

“Into the Void”

Team Flash spent the last year dealing with not one but two Cicadas, the return of Eobard Thawne (a.k.a. Reverse Flash), and the surprise arrival from the future of Barry and Iris’s daughter Nora West-Allen, (a.k.a. XS). The stakes were higher than ever during the season 5 finale, which culminated in Barry and Iris losing their daughter after only just getting to know her. How will they deal with saying goodbye to their speedster daughter, and what does Thawne’s escape mean for Team Flash?

The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cicso Ramon, Tom Cavanagh Harrison Wells, and Jesse L. Martin as Joe West. The series airs Tuesdays  at 8/7c on The CW.
