Last week Mission Impossible 7 director Chris McQuarrie announced that Marvel actress Hayley Atwell was joining the cast. Now Atwell has also confirmed her involvement and unveiled that her character will also be appearing in the previously announced eighth instalment in the franchise.
Atwell will be joining the cast in an unknown role but is expected to take on the role of one of the female leads. Though unconfirmed all the big Hollywood trades are expecting Rebecca Fergusson to return as Ilsa Faust in both sequels.

Mission: Impossible 7 is due for release on July 23, 2021 whilst Mission: Impossible 8 is set to follow on August 5, 2022.
