The annual BFI London Film Festival is right around the corner and in readiness we now have the full programme of events.
As previously announced The Personal History of David Copperfield is set to open the festival whilst Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman will close the festival in grand style.
Other gala screenings will include Rian Johnsons Knives Out which debuts on Tuesday 8 October with its world premiere. The film will also screen through the festival until Sunday 13 October.
This year’s BFI Patrons Gala will be Tom Hanks’ new film A Beautiful Day In The Neighbourhood which see’s him take on the role of pop culture legend Fred Rogers. The Patron’s Gala takes place on Saturday 12 October.
Taika Waititi’s Jojo Rabbit, David Michôd’s The King starring Timothée Chalamet, James Mangold’s Le Mans ’66 which stars Matt Damon and Christian Bale and finally Marriage Story starring Scarlett Johansson and Adam Drive, directed by Noah Baumbach.
Tickets go on sale on September 12 and you can check out the full festival lineup here.
