DC Comics has unveiled new artwork from Legion of Super-Heroes: Millennium by Jim Lee which highlights a future version of Supergirl. Checkout the press release from DC below:
EW (via DC Comics) got the first look at new artwork for the upcoming LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES:MILLENNIUM miniseries from the fan-favorite art team of Jim Lee, inker Scott Williams and colorist Alex Sinclair, plus an exclusive interview with series writer Brian Michael Bendis.
Bendis chatted about working with Lee, as well as Supergirl’s role in this two-issue miniseries that ties together multiple threads from the future of the DC Universe, paving the way for his LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES ongoing series in November with artist Ryan Sook.
But DC saved some newness for you too; here’s the art from the EW piece, the final cover to issue #1 by Sook, plus some never-before-seen pages by Lee, Williams and Sinclair, featuring our mystery protagonist taking on DC heroes and villains, for reasons that Bendis is still keeping secret…
LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES:MILLENNIUM #1 hits comic book stores and participating digital retailers on September 4, with the 2nd issue arriving October 2. LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES #1, debuts November 6.
