It seems like aquatic creature features are having quite the resurgence lately!
After the recent hits of The Meg and Crawl, Kristen Stewart is jumping on the bandwagon by starring in William Eubank’s new movie Underwater.
The director, previously known for the extremely underrated The Signal, seems to be going full Alien with the production design, and I for one, could not be more excited.
While we don’t see the creatures themselves, it’s apparent that they are released after our cast tries to drill into the Earth’s core.
Looking like a mix of The Descent and Harry Potter after some gillyweed, here’s hoping we are in for some fun killer mermaid mayhem!
The movie will also star Vincent Cassell (Black Swan), T.J Miller (Cloverfield)and John Gallagher (The Belko Experiment, and is due for release on January 10, 2020.
