Before season 1 had even debuts on our screens, Amazon Prime announced that The Boys would be returning for a second season.
With new episodes already in production we’re now getting some hints as to what to expect when the show returns. Producer Seth Rogen sat down with Collider and discussed what fans can expected from the next batch of episodes.
“They already have more resources for the second season.” said Rogen “They’re adding more characters, the scope of the show organically grows as the show continues. We just watched, actually, the first episode of the second season this week. It was a wonderful thing as producers. This is way better than I ever could’ve hoped it would be.”
Co-producer Steve Weintraub added that Season 2 is “definitely better than the first season,” adding that “immediately, it just looks a bit better, feels bigger, the actors all know what they’re doing.”
Erik Kripke has also been teasing production on his social media, including this bloody photo featuring several of the cast members.
