Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are now hard at work on the third entry in the Bill and Ted franchise. Thanks to some happy snappers we’ve got a first look at the pair on set filming the movie.
For those of you born after the 90s Bill and Ted featured in two movies in 1989 and 1991 as well as a short lived cartoon series and an attempted live-action series in 1990 and 1992.
The series features the adventures of the titular Bill and Ted who use a time travelling phone box (sound familiar?) to go on misadventures across time.
We hugely excited to see what they can come up with for this third adventure so it’s cool to see the duo back working together on set.

A previously released synopsis for the movie read:
Bill & Ted Face the Music will see the duo long past their days as time-traveling teenagers and now weighed down by middle age and the responsibilities of family. They’ve written thousands of tunes, but they have yet to write a good one, much less the greatest song ever written. With the fabric of time and space tearing around them, a visitor from the future warns our heroes that only their song can save life as we know it. Out of luck and fresh out of inspiration, Bill and Ted set out on a time travel adventure to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe as we know it. Together with the aid of their daughters, a new crop of historical figures, and some sympathetic music legends, they find much, much more than just a song.
Bill and Ted Face the Music features a script by original franchise creators Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon. The movie is directed by Dean Parisot. Scott Kroopf is producing with Alex Lebovici and Steve Ponce of Hammerstone Studios, with Steven Soderbergh serving as an EP alongside Scott Fischer, John Ryan Jr. and John Santilli.
