DC UNIVERSE releases “People Like Us” single from DOOM PATROL

Doom Patrol (Warner Bros. TV)

Back in episode 8 of Doom Patrol (reviewed here) we got one of the most uplifting scenes ever in a DCTV show.

The episode saw the titular team visit Danny The Street where Negative Man aka Matt Bomer performed a rendition of the Kelly Clarkson song “People Like Us”. That song was performed alongside Alan Mingo Jr.

Now Warner Bros. has released the song via its WaterTower Music label and you can grab your copy on iTunes. Proceeds are being donated to GLSEN charities in aid of global Pride Month.

Matt Bomer discussed the release in a recent post on Instagram.

The series comes from Berlanti Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television. The one-hour drama is written Jeremy Carver (Supernatural, Being Human) and will by executive produced by Carver alongside by Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns and Sarah Schechter.
