X-Men: The Animated Series is easily one of the most beloved kids cartoons of the 90s. Alongside Batman: The Animated Series and Spider-Man it exists as one of our generations childhood highlights.
Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the series creative team is planning to approach Disney with a view to pitching a revival of the show.
“The one thing we’d like to do more than anything else is to continue where we left off,” series producer and director Larry Houston said.
With Disney now home to the rights for the characters now might be the time to bring them back to the small screen before rebooting them on the big screen.
X-Men: The Animated Series ran for five season between 1992 and 1997 on Fox Kids.
