Things have begun to quiet down in the world of Avengers: Endgame. The movie has now been in theatres for a month and with spoilers rife on the internet the conversation have begun to take a back seat.
One point which is still on the minds of Marvel fans is whether the movie can surpass Avatar to become the highest grossing movie of all time.
When last we heard about the gap between the two the Marvel Studios release needed to gross a further $173m to be able to take the crown. That figure has now significantly reduced.
According to the latest figures from BoxOfficeMojo Iron Man and the team have now grossed $2.69b worldwide. That figure is now under $100m away from the $2.78b grossed by Avatar back in 2009.
But with momentum slowing it could be a struggle for the Avengers to come out on top. Would you like to see Endgame take the crown as the highest grossing movie? How many times have you been out to see the latest Marvel movie?
