Production is well underway on DC Universe’s fourth live-action series. Recently, lead actress Brec Bassinger celebrated her 20th birthday whilst on set and shared a snap of her birthday cake on social media.
Doesn’t sound very exciting I hear you say… well when she’s wearing her Stargirl costume in the photo then it is definitely headline worthy.
In the Instagram post below you can get a new look at what the DC Comics heroine will look like when she hits screens in early 2020.
This is the best shot of the costume we’ve had for lighting and it definitely seems like the producers are staying close to the comics.

The show stars Brec Bassinger in the title role. Luke Wilson is playing S.T.R.I.P.E., alongside Joel McHale (Starman), Lou Ferrigno Jr. (Hourman), Henry Thomas (Dr. Mid-Nite), and Brian Stapf (Wildcat). Neil Hopkins (Sportsmaster), Joy Osmanski (Tigress), and Nelson Lee (Dragon King) will portray members of the Injustice Society.
Stargirl is now in production and will premiere on DC Universe in early 2020. DC Universe is available now in North America.
