Moving on from the will-he-won’t-he rumours of Robert Pattinson’s casting as Batman we’ve got a new rumour about just which villains might show up in the movie.
Here’s a clue: ALL OF THEM! No but serious The Hollywood Reporter is running with a story that as many as six classic Batman villains will be turning up Matt Reeves The Batman.
The report claims Matt Reeves is still working on the screenplay with one source citing that six classic Bat-villains will be showing up across the course of the movie.
Whilst they aren’t all named there are mentions of both Penguin and Catwoman. Could Josh Gadd get his wish to play Oswald Cobblepot after all? Who would you cast as Catwoman?
It seems Reeves may be writing a story which will featuring The Dark Knight at least coming in to contact with many of his rogues gallery. Perhaps he’ll spend the movie locked up in Arkham during a prison break!
The Batman is due for release on June 25, 2021.
