Even though Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow are yet to debut their current season finales all eyes are turning to the next Arrowverse crossover.
“Crisis On Infinite Earths” is set to debut around Christmas-time when most of the shows are wrapping up their first batch of new episodes.
We now know that Legends of Tomorrow won’t be debuting its new season until 2020 but that doesn’t mean they’re sitting out the latest special event.
During The CW’s upfront presentation president Mark Pedowitz showed off some placeholder key art for the upcoming crossover and confirmed it will in fact run for 5 hours.
By our calculations (and looking at the poster) that means it will span one episode of each of the main series: Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and, of course, the newest entry to the pantheon, Batwoman.
The event will air over two quarters with three episodes debuting in December 2019 and the final two in January 2020. This will mark the first time the crossover event has taken place over the space of one week.
You know what the means Super Friends? We can probably expect a huge cliffhanger in the middle of the action.
Excited for Crisis? We sure are!
