Batman is returning to LEGO with a new direct-to-video animated movie. Batman: Family Matters will bring the whole Bat-Family in to the LEGO world for a new adventure.
A short synopsis released Wednesday states “suspicion is on high after Batman, Batgirl, Robin and other Super Heroes receive mysterious invitations. However, family values must remain strong when Batman and his team encounter the villainous Red Hood, who is obsessed with destroying the Bat-family and all of Gotham City.”
The film will be distributed by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment starting August 6, 2019 on Blu-rayTM Combo Pack ($24.98 SRP), DVD ($19.98 SRP) and Digital. UK pricing to follow.
The Blu-rayTM Combo Pack and DVD releases of LEGO® DC: Batman – Family Matters will include 84-piece an LEGO Mini Ultimate Batmobile premium set while supplies last.
Troy Baker (Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman: Arkham Origins), Alyson Stoner (Phineas and Ferb) and Scott Menville (Teen Titans, Teen Titans Go!) lead the voice cast as Batman, Batgirl and Robin, respectively and Jason Spisak (Young Justice) provides the voice of Red Hood (and Jason Todd).
Additional cast members include Steve Blum as Scarecrow, Zach Callison as Billy Batson, Cam Clarke as Brother Eye & Bat Computer, Will Friedle as Nightwing, Ralph Garman as Wizard, Tom Kenny as Gordon & Penguin, Christian Lanz as Two-Face/Harvey Dent, Nolan North as Alfred & Killer Croc, Andre Sogliuzza as Riddler, Tara Strong as Batwoman and Fred Tatasciore as Solomon Grundy.
