Earlier this week Paramount Pictures eagerly revealed their first look at Sonic The Hedgehog. The movie, directed by Jeff Fowler, is set to bring the titular Sonic in to the human world for an adventure featuring Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik.
Whilst nobody could deny there was a nostalgic air to the trailer many were disappointed with the look of the main character. His traditional appearance had been somewhat altered making him more humanlike in some ways.
Well it appears as if the director, the studio and Sega themselves have heard the criticisms. Overnight Jeff Fowler put out the following tweet confirming that, following the backlash, they will be redesigning the characters.
