We’ve been hearing rumours for some time that Marvel was planning an animated anthology series for Disney+. During the Marvel portion of the Disney+ launch event last night in LA Kevin Feige confirmed the news and the content of the first episode.
The “What If?” series will focus on key moments from the history of Marvel comics but with key details heavily altered.
The first episode will look at what could have happened if Peggy Carter had taken on the mantle of Captain America (Britain?) instead of Steve Rogers. Whilst the un-super soldiered Steve fights at her side.
We, for one, are hoping that Hayley Atwell returns to voice the character as Feige confirmed that “new and returning” voice actors will be involved with the show.
