Today doesn’t just mark the release of Shazam! in cinemas, we’ve also got new episodes of Star Trek: Discovery and Doom Patrol dropping. Oh and even more exciting is the return of Netflix drama Chilling Adventures of Sabrina with new episodes!
Here’s everything you need to know about the shows second batch of episodes.

The second season, or “Part 2”, features another 10 episodes. All 10 of those episodes will drop today across the globe via Netflix.
Starring
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina stars Kiernan Shipka as the titular witch. The series also stars Michelle Gomez as Mary Wardwell/Madam Satan, Jaz Sinclair as Rosalind Walker, Chance Perdomo as Ambrose Spellman, Lucy Davis as Hilda Spellman, Miranda Otto as Zelda Spellman, Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle and Richard Coyle as Father Blackwood.
Previously On Sabrina…
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina imagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft. Tonally in the vein of Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist, this adaptation finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature — half-witch, half-mortal — while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.
We last caught up with the residents of Greendale in the show’s holiday special. That episode featured Sabrina, her Aunties and the gang dealing with a holiday magical monster-of-the-week and strayed away from the series on going arc.
The series is closely based on the Archie Horror comic book of the same name. The comic was written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa with art by Robert Hack.
What To Expect From “Part 2”
We’ve seen the first five episodes of “Part 2” (thank you Netflix!) and we can tell you there’s plenty of dark new twists and turns for the teenage witch.
Sabrina will find herself immersed in the Dark Lord’s world as she quits her place at her mortal high school to attend The Academy of the Unseen Arts full time.
Of course attending the academy puts her squarely in the sights of Father Blackwood (Richard Coyle) as well as Prudence, Agatha and Dorcas. This new challenge also brings with it a new love interest in the form of Gavin Leatherwood’s Nicholas Scratch.
Closer to home both of Sabrina’s Aunties – Hilda (Lucy Davis) and Zelda (Miranda Otto) – will be dealing with issues with their love lives alongside guiding the young witch on the path to adulthood.
Sabrina’s friends will also be dealing with new trials and tribulations. Los and Harvey will find solace with each other’s company as their friend leaves for The Academy of Unseen Arts.
Susie (Lachlan Watson) will feature in some incredibly powerful scenes as she comes to grips with her identity and place in the world.
There’s a school play, valentines day and a wedding and all in just the first half of the season!
