If you were spared by the Thanos snap you most likely tried to buy tickets to Avengers: Endgame yesterday. We’re not at all surprised to hear that overnight news has broken the latest Marvel Studios movie has broken the pre-sale tickets record set by Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
According to Fandango Endgame broke the record for best first day sales in the US in just 6 hours.
Here in the UK: Vue cinemas were left to put fans in an hour long queue to access their websites after Avengers fans crashed their booking system. Odeon also faced problems due to the demands placed on their website though Vue was most affected.

After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.
Avengers: Endgame is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. The movie stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Danai Gurira, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie.
The film arrives in cinemas in April 25 in the UK and April 26 in North America.
