New GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS spot teases “Beautiful” monsters

We’re in the final stretch of the wait for Warner Bros. latest Monarch Universe movie. Godzilla: King of the Monster finally hits screens in May and we’ve got the latest promo spot for you to check out in the player below.

Set to a haunting version of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” the spot takes a closer look at the movies creatures as well as their impact on the wider world.

We gotta admit we’re really excited to see what kind of carnage the battle between Godzilla; Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah can bring to the screen!

Following the global success of “Godzilla” and “Kong: Skull Island” comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ cinematic MonsterVerse, an epic action adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

Directed by Michael Dougherty, the sequel stars Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown and Charles Dance.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters hits cinemas May 31, 2019.
