We’ve reached the finale of the second season of The Gifted!

After what has been a wild ride over the past fifteen episodes the finale will premiere next Tuesday (Feb. 26) on FOX. The network has released the synopsis and promo for the episode “oMens” as below.

It’s worth noting that at this stage the episode is being referred to as the SEASON and not SERIES finale, although no final decision has been made on whether the show will return for season 3 as yet.

Reeva prepares to carry out her plan for the Inner Circle, but not everyone is on the same page. Reed struggles to manage his powers and the family realizes that without enough of the serum, it’s only a matter of time before he completely loses control. Frustrated and egged on by Benedict Ryan, Jace and the Purifiers are on the attack, but for Jace, things aren’t as black and white as they once were in the all-new “oMens” season finale episode of THE GIFTED airing Tuesday, Feb. 26 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Action-adventure family drama The Gifted, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

Written by Matt Nix (APB, Burn Notice), directed by Bryan Singer (the X-Men franchise) and executive-produced by Nix, Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner (X-Men: Apocalypse, X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Wolverine), Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Apocalypse, X-Men: Days of Future Past), Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones) and Jim Chory (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones), the series stars Stephen Moyer (SHOTS FIRED, True Blood) and Amy Acker (Person of Interest).
