It was overall a good night for Marvel at last nights BAFTA awards here in London. Following Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse picking up the award for Best Animated Film it was then the turn of Black Panther to pick up a win or two.
Ryan Coogler’s movie picked up the award for Best Visual Effects beating out Marvel Studio’s own Avengers: Infinity War to scoop the prize.
Letitia Wright, Shuri in Black Panther, also picked up the Rising Star award. Congratulations Letitia!

Chadwick Boseman reprises his role as T’Challa/Black Panther and is joined in the film by Michael B. Jordan, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Any Serkis and Forest Whitaker.
The Marvel Studios/Disney film landed in cinemas on February 12, 2018 in the UK and Feb 16 in the US.
