Well, it had to happen really. It’s been announced overnight that Game of Thrones alum Harry Lloyd will be joining Legion as Professor Charles Xavier.
As the show enters its final season it will introduce both of David Haller’s biological parents. Alongside Lloyd as Xavier will be Stephanie Corneliussen as Gabrielle Haller.
Corneliussen is best known for playing Joanna Wellick on Mr. Robot. Both castings were announced via the official Legion Twitter account.

Stephanie Corneliussen will play David Haller’s mother, “Gabrielle,” and Harry Lloyd will play his father, “Professor X.”
Airing Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX, Legion stars Dan Stevens, Rachel Keller, Jean Smart, Bill Irwin, Amber Midthunder, Jeremie Harris, Aubrey Plaza, Jemaine Clement, Hamish Linklater and Navid Negahban.
