The latest update on Venom‘s box office domination has the film surpassing DC Films Wonder Woman at the worldwide box office.
The Sony Pictures/Marvel movie has now broken $822M worldwide. The movie took only $780K in North America this weekend but internationally added around $21M. Its North America tally is currently $221.7M but that accounts for only 25% of its worldwide gross.
Venom‘s international cume is now sitting at around $610.8M for a total of $822.5M. With its box office beginning to slow down it’s most likely the movie will exit cinemas at around $850M.
This latest update means that Venom has now surpassed the lifetime gross of Wonder Woman at the worldwide box office. The Warner Bros./DC Films release took $821.8M back in 2017. Venom is now the 6th highest grossing movie of 2018 at the worldwide box office.
