Ruby Rose talks Batwoman in ELSEWORLDS

Batwoman (Ruby Rose)

EW has this evening debuts an awesome new look at Ruby Rose at Batwoman. The photo, from the upcoming DCTV crossover Elseworlds, features Rose in full costume complete with grappling gun.

A brief new interview with the actress also accompanied the release of the photo. Speaking of wearing the costume Rose says “It’s a strange feeling to put on a suit like this that has been custom made for you knowing that it’s going to transform you into a character that does amazing things.” It seems wearing the costume has been a positive experience for Rose “You feel very empowered and it just instantly changes everything you feel in that moment.”

The trade reveals several details on how Batwoman will be introduced in the Arrow episode of the crossover. It seems Oliver, Barry, and Kara have travelled to Gotham City in search of Arkham Asylum doctor John Deegan (Jeremy Davies, Lost).

“Kate does not want to deal with this. She has a whole other agenda, a whole other life that she’s trying to sort out right now, and these frigging superheroes come in and they’re a mess, and they need her help,” adds Rose.

Elseworlds will air for three nights and will begin with The Flash on Sunday, December 9 at 8/7c, continue with Arrow on Monday, December 10 at 8/7c and end with Supergirl on Tuesday, December 11 at 8/7c.
