New ELSEWORLDS set photos confirm multiple Supermen

We’re one step closer to understanding what might be going on in Elseworlds. Okay we have no idea what is going on. But these new set photos confirm one new details for the DCTV epic crossover. Tyler Hoechlin will be playing not one, but TWO Superman’s.

In this latest batch of images from Canadagraphs Hoechlin can be seen taking Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) hostage. Hoechlin is clearly seen wearing his black Superman suit. A stunt double for Hoechlin stands with his back to the camera wearing the classic blue and red Superman suit.

This is our first confirmation that at least one of the new characters appearing in Elseworlds will be a doppelgänger. Speculation had been rife that reality would be altered by events on the shows rather than another round of doppelgängers.

Elseworlds will air for three nights and will begin with The Flash on Sunday, December 9 at 8/7c, continue with Arrow on Monday, December 10 at 8/7c and end with Supergirl on Tuesday, December 11 at 8/7c.
