On Tuesday we brought you the rumour that Marvel was working on a Nick Fury series for Disney. The supposed series was set to premiere on the companies new streaming service launching in the next year.
Now, Slash Film’s Peter Sciretta has rubbished the claims by saying Marvel is working on “something bigger”. In a series of tweets Sciretta explained that SlashFilm have been hearing different rumours about Marvels plans.
Yes, Disney is working on other Marvel Cinematic Universe shows for their streaming service. But No, from what I’ve heard it’s not a Nick Fury series as reported recently on those unreliable marvel fan sites. It’s something bigger and better. Something more.

However, he goes on to explain the site has yet to report on rumours until Disney comments on them directly.
Oh and to be clear, we haven’t reported what we’ve heard (even though it’s from a good source) because we’ve yet to find a reliable second source for the information and Disney isn’t commenting.
